- my mother in law apologized
- asked me back for reunion dinner
- asked me to let bygones be bygones
- felt quite sore but kind of moved by her sincerity to at least apologize to me(too soft-hearted).
PS: I still staying my own place as I think she ought to be asking me back to stay anyway too... Am I too demanding?

hmmm.. as for u, i think u shouldn't move back now. even if ur MIL apologized but didn't ask, u should wait til some time later then u go back. i think to have an elder to apologize (even though it's her fault) is already good enough. don't ask for too much. but to save ur pride, u can delay more time. :)
The reunion dinner was fine. My MIL hasn't ask me back anywayz...
