Ultimate Coward

Went out to Pasir Ris Park today to help some final year students with their filming project to in memory to a cancer patient who has passed on in life. However, the day ended being ruined by some Malay childish punk. Why do I say that? Here is what happened...
This punk and his 2 friends were squealing like babies while being on the swing and were 'disturbing' us doing an emotional scene, where we were trying to capture the life of this demised cancer patient. Thus, one of the student went up to this Malay punk to seek his cooperation but he turned nasty and almost quarrelled with this student. His friend manages to stop him and moved on to other stuff. We thought this issue was over...
When we were about to leave 2 hours later, this same Malay guy came up and asked to talk to that student. First, he did apologized for being rude towards her earlier BUT he ended up demanding for that student to give the name of school she was from and threatened to lodge a complain against her for being rude towards him earlier as he said he didn't want to accept her earlier apology. This poor student ended apologizing to this punk again but he still tried to intimidate this student using vulgarities as well as the 'f' word. He kept saying not to infuriate him as he is somebody out there. He also stated that although he wears t-shirt and jeans doesn't mean he is a nobody. Finally, I can't stand it no more and began to start defending for the student. He of course thought he could push me around and using the 'f' word on me, I firmly told him to stop using that word before I report him to a police. I warned him to back off otherwise I wouldn't hesitate to call the police. Indeed, he challenged me to call police verbalizing that he ain't scared of the police as he is a somebody.
I made the call to the police right under his nose and even reported our location and that my friends and I are being threatened by a guy who is using vulgarities at us. Soon after that call was made, that Malay punk started to make excuses that he needed to leave as he and his friends were hungry and needed to eat their lunch. Then, he left... Coward!

Such people thinks that just because he is guy with tattoos and scars over his upper and lower limbs, we females would be intimidated and not know our rights.
Can't understand such people who attempts to boost their egos only to flee the moment they hear that the police is on their way.
Haiz... such cowards... such males without balls yet wanna act tough. How disappointing!
Of course I know that he might strike and assault us but that would be to his disadvantage ultimately due to the eye witnesses of other park goers. Anyway, I doubt he would dare to strike us based on his fear of police. Haha...


PS: Tomorrow would be my last day of rest before I head back to work on Monday... Guess my next leave would be in May, few days before my big day...

Happy Niu Year

My CNY nails for 2009! My last year of recieving ang baos... Not that I am complaining but also kinda sad that I have to start giving out ang baos next year on...

107 Days Away

- my mother in law apologized
- asked me back for reunion dinner
- asked me to let bygones be bygones
- felt quite sore but kind of moved by her sincerity to at least apologize to me(too soft-hearted).

PS: I still staying my own place as I think she ought to be asking me back to stay anyway too... Am I too demanding?

Channel 'U'

Was being filmed by Channel U TV crew today, all thanks to a patient, who was selected to be featured in their TV show due in March. Wow, first time having all these recording equipments so near to me. Scary and nervous lor. Didnt expect myself to be the one who would be attending to the patient. Mari was shy and backed out. Huduh was specificallly instructed not to attend to the patient by NM Catherine, this, left only me...

Haiz... I think I would look very ugly lor... Fat and pimples on my face...

Anyway, I am going to start taking OCP (oral contraceptive pills) to regulate my menses as well as to avoid having my menses on my wedding day. Can't imagine having menses on my big day, so troublesome and messy lor...

Have already came out with the table sitting list for my kiv wedding guests... 4mths more...
Half wishing it to come faster, yet wish it doesn't come so fast as I haven't settle issues with my mother in law and I don't wish to be a face black black bride...

No One Understands

My husband commented that I am very petty towards his mother and even has been grumbling about wanting me to move back soon as he doesn't feel comfortable staying at my place. When I told him that if he wishes to go back, he could go ahead but I am staying put at my own house, he said I would suffer without him. Haiz... Such sarcasm from him. True, I may have problems waking up early and that I may feel lonely at night but other than that, I would be fine...

He said I am too hard on his mother for wanting her to apologize me and said I am being cruel for making her lose face by apologizing her. What he can't understand is that his mother had also make me lose face in front of the PRC woman by screaming at me and chasing me out the house. He doesn't understand how paiseh and embarrassed I was feeling to be humilated and asked to never step into that house ever again. That is one dressing-down I will not forget.

CNY is coming and I am not sure what may happen next, for one thing I know is that I wouldn't make up with my mother in law unless she apologizes to me and let that PRC woman witness my home-coming with my mother in law apologizing to me. It is the only way I can gain back my humilated pride and injured ego.

4 Months More & A Midnight Movie

Just came back from a midnight movie with my husband, watched Red Cliff Part 2. Not so boring as part 1 and it is much better as well as exciting than part 1. Nice 2hrs and 20mins spent, anticipating the grand ending on how the war was won.

4 more months to success! Counting down month by month, hoping nothing would hinder it anymore...

Mad 2 Days Of My Life...

One patient wrote in a complain about my colleague and me... Here is what she wrote-"Amelia has to be more graceful when she walks or moves around, she looks to be more of a car mechanic or a house renovator than a nurse, the other hand, Mari (my colleague) got to grow taller (my colleague is 1.52m).

09/01/2009:
On my way to Bugis mrt after alighting from a bus...
man (in a Honky accent): are you a nurse?!
me: yeah, why?
man (hostilely): you gotta give me 6 dollars!
me: huh? what?
man (still hostile): I want 6 dollars to go back home!!!!
me: I don't have, sorry, I am in a rush...
man (start grabbing my uniform): you got to give me 6 dollars now!
me: if you don't let go, I will scream for molest. Let go!
man (starts shaking me by my uniform sleeves): I want 6 dollars!!!
me (brushes him off and walked away)
*by then everyone was staring at him and me... so embarrassing...

1st Movie Of 2009

The 1st movie I have watched of 2009.It was a midnight sneak preview and will officially be in cinemas on 8 Jan 2009. Nice but quite violent.
The next show I would like to watch would be Red Cliff (Part 2).
